This necklace is a modern proposal with an antique and ethnic flavor, incorporating the past in the present through the central hanging piece, a replica of prehispanic jewelry from Colombia. This piece belongs to the Sinú culture (around 800 B.C. - 1600 A.D.), where artisans made astonishing creations that today are exposed in the Museum of Gold, in Bogotá, and evoque the legend of El Dorado. I used gold tone mesh chain and made the flowers with glass beads in these brilliant colors to bring out the central piece. The necklace around is 14 in., from the clasp to the pendant.
